The Best Dresses adorned by Hollywood Actresses on the Red Carpet

The best part about those gazillion award shows and film festivals such as The Oscars, The Cannes, Gramy Awards, and Golden Globes etc. is the gorgeous jaw dropping dresses flaunted on the red carpet by the even more gorgeous actresses. The amazing couture, jewelry, hair, makeup, the shoes, everything is on fleek. No stone is left unturned in getting just the right look. So today we’re going to share with you our top favorite dresses and the actresses who flaunted them.

Grace Kelly- This simple yet elegant mint green classy dress adorned by Grace Kelly left everyone awestruck in 1955 Oscars. Having said that, she also bagged herself the best actress Oscar Award. This floor length confection can only be defined as timeless and one of the best dresses ever flaunted on the red carpet because fans still go crazy over it.

Anne Hathaway- In 2009 Oscars, Anne Hathaway flaunted this gorgeous glittery dress and left everyone amazed. The Armani Prive floor length strapless gown had a perfect fit and millions of fans went crazy over it. The champagne colored gown looked so gorgeous and was styled so perfectly by her that it became the talks all over the globe for quite some time.

Nicole Kidman- Sported by Nicole Kidman, this gold green haute couture was designed especially for her, costing her about 2 million dollars. But from where I see, it looks worth every penny. The intricate embroidery, the silhouette, everything ended up making this gown, just the perfect one for the Red Carpet. The way Nicole carried it, the makeup, and her minimal jewelry, everything just added to its charm.

Jennifer Lopez- Although a bold one that some women may shy away from, but Jennifer Lopez just owned it with this show stopper green Versace gown. The sheer fabric, the center slit that went up to her navel left the fans all over the globe just awestruck and definitely one of the boldest dresses sported on the red carpet. It quickly became of the most talked about red Carpet gown till date.

  1. Messier, the better-Now if you’re using a self-tied bow tie, you don’t have to be perfect at it. Sometimes the messier the tie, the better it looks. Some imperfections will only make it look real.
  2. Play with it- However a bow tie is a formal accessory but you can still play with it. You can find a ton of different types of fabrics and patterns on bow ties. For a formal look, style it with a blazer or a printed shirt. Tailored suits, pencil skirts, dresses, the options are never ending. Don’t be afraid to mix and match, have fun with it.
